Interesting animation. I could tell it was very heavily influenced by the animations of David Firth.
It's very difficult to get a point across through animation in a minute, so I won't comment on narrative. However, in future I think if you're going for the shorter animation, especially an animation with no dialogue, it should work to your advantage to make any background music or sound effects more dynamic, i.e. changing with the visuals, building tension, etc.

All in all I think you're off to a good start and you'll only improve from here with more exposure to the program.

Soliloquous responds:

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. David Firth has always been one of my favourite animators, and continues to be. I still see this project has room for improvement as you mentioned with the background noise/ambiance, so I'll probably fix this one up when I have time to do so.

No point.

It was kinda of interesting, but ultimately pointless and random. The flash left off at a strange point and there was no story at all. This seems more of an experimental flash than a proper one.

You have potential and good flash skills, you just need a script to go with it.

Also, when you click 'pause', you have to go back to the start for the flash to play again. The forward button does nothing (?)

there never really was any point to it i just added the stuff to pass (this was my final). i only posted it because i thought it looked kinda cool.

Great job.

This impressed me to no end.
Worth the loading time.

It's great when authors can prove that sprites aren't lazy.
Well done.

Goten-2 responds:

It doesn't take that long to load for me...:P
And I find sprites WAY harder than drawing, I HAVE tried drawing, just so you all know. :)

Thanks for review.

It's, like, tradition for me to review now.

Amazing collaboration, guys. Definitely something to be proud of, here. Sound was practically flawless. Humor was what's to be expected from Get A God, but stayed refreshing and different.
Guest writing can go two ways - it can make or break a flash series. However, the series is going from strength to strength.

Can't wait to see what topic you, or a future guest writer, highlights next.

My ex-girlfriends suggest otherwise.

.

I don't think the previous reviewer got the whole concept of the movie. Of course the author isn't trying to persuade people to become vegetarian.

You could have taken more time to clean up the animations. They were quite sloppy.
I liked the music, and the message.

thanx :) ill do better next time :)

Pretty good.

Only negative thing I would say is, the writing as hard to make out at times due to the font.
Apart from that, pretty good.

Joonza responds:

Oh, ok. Sorry about that. Thanks for the review and thanks for watching. :D

Excelled [Not to be confused with 'Exiled']

Haha, wow.
You see, it takes a lot for me to give a really high votes usually. But it took only 40 seconds of humour, wit and skill to make me. This is now my favourite short flash series on NG by a mile.
Yes, it was your longest flash for 'Get a God', but it was your best.
Please keep doing what you're doing. Over-step the mark if you have to. These flashes are too good to miss.

Mesmic, I'm really glad you're a fan, it's awesome to get this kind of feedback. I think I read a comment by Michael Swain (from Blockhead) and he said it's great to know you're not throwing these flashes out into a bottomless pit. That people are enjoying them is really cool.

I'd love to keep doing this - it's time consuming and really tasking, but I'm whinging too. I'm trying to get someone to sponsor this series so I can get paid to make these things - that would be brilliant.

I know it'd be cool to keep doing these forever, but it definitely wouldn't be cool for me. Next is the Director's Cut of this series (that'll be all four original shorts plus a bonus ep, some commentary and a bit of unused materials) then something completely different. I'll probably come back to this series in a second round of four + 1 guest writer, but for now let's just enjoy what's going on at the moment eh?

I think you've reviewed all my eps now, is that right? It's great to hear from you Mes, thanks.

:]

Ha, this is most definitely my favourite so far. Superb. The whole concept is so refreshing, and it stays refreshing with each installment.
I'm not going to look too much into the subject like other people. I don't believe that is what you want us to do in the first place either. I'm just going to appreciate your flash skills and great ideas, like they should be.
Well done.

Cambo responds:

You're an absolute legend mate, thanks for the review.

:]

Again, great. I don't think it matched up to your first, but in saying that, I still really enjoyed it, and I trust myself in thinking you are creating a very enjoyable series.
You point out flaws in the general Christian and twist it into something light-hearted, and that is never easy to do. I found the sound in this one to be quieter than your previous installment, though... I'm not sure why that is.

I will add you to my Favourite list, because I'd really like to be informed when you release flashes :)

Cambo responds:

I'm always going to be caught between trying to please the guys who liked the first one and guys who want to see some development, so I try not to let it phase me. I've written 4 episodes all on the same day, so they're all just arbitrary which one was first and second and so on. But whatever, if you're enjoying it I'm not going to make comparisons.

I'll let you know when the next one comes out.

Shortastic.

I love when people can do movies as short like this and pull it off, and you definitely pulled it off.
Great job.

-Mesmic

Cambo responds:

Cooltastic! Glad you enjoyed it. Great review.
